With BlogBall09 (#bb09a) reaching the midpoint of its 22 week regular season, I’m starting to wonder, as Pink Floyd might ask, is there is anybody out there? My squad —Mr. Mojo Risin’ (58-43-9)– has been stuck in second place for the past 3 weeks unable to gain any ground on the league leader Hirschy Bears (66-41-3). Close behind me in the standings are Swing from the Heels (58-46-6) and Higgy’s Tribe Time (57-48-5). Mr. Mojo’s opponent in week 12 –fellow Ohioan, Buckeye Ballers (55-47-8)– leads the league in strikeouts (517) and could really gain some ground in the standings this week if Mojo’s squad continues to play as poorly as they have.
